With CTP, accurate image positioning means that make-ready times are reduced, and the first generation dot yields sharper, more saturated colour.
All plates are imaged from the very same data that imaged the proof, so you can be confident that what was signed off is actually imaged on the plates.
Quite simply, it’s sharper, cleaner and completely true to your original file.
Our Agfa Avalon platesetter is the Rolls-Royce of CTP technology, delivering the quality and throughput needed.
In this exacting environment, plate output needs the most professional input possible.
Each plate processed is inspected by our quality control staff before packing and despatch.
We also take time to archive the imposed images, so future re-runs can be plated easily with the same data.
A choice of screen rulings and dot shapes are available up to 300 line, to meet the needs of the most demanding job.
For special requirements, Cristal Raster screening is available in a choice of spot sizes to match your job/press specifications. Stochastic delivers superb detail in images, and is also useful on older presses to help with fit or register problems, but is not recommended for those jobs that have flat colour.
The latest, most unique screening technology yet combines the best of both Stochastic and conventional rosettes for revolutionary results. Sublima enables work to be printed at incredible screen resolutions, up to 350 line, whilst still holding perfect highlight and shadow dot detail.
By combining the two technologies, excellent results are now possible on those jobs that combine images and flat colour on the one page or spread.
Specify Sublima for your next critical project and spot the difference.
